February 26, 2005Academic Integrity Valencia Community College Student SurveyWhile I am not a student at Valencia Community College, nor the sponsoring school Rutgers, I do know something about integrity. Just maybe not academic integrity. Because academic integrity is seemingly based on sending out your survey requests using a fake email address for a domain you don't own. But hey, I don't have a PHD, so maybe I don't know what Dr. Don McCabe is hoping for in his survey. I filled it out, and it must be broken, because at the end I did not get a little graphic telling me who I was based on my academic integrity. I was really hoping to get the Jeff Spicoli award or at least the Pedro award. But maybe it was just broken when i tried it - feel free to give it a try at (http://integrity.rutgers.edu/valencia.asp . The email: Subject: One little note, these minor Ivy League schools must be tough, the survey was neither self-explanatory and it took me longer than 15 minutes. Hell, 15 minutes didn't even give me enough time to discuss my skills in reporting other students for cheating. Comment on this post on POE News Posted by Chet at February 26, 2005 04:24 AM |
