Bank of America - Privacy Averted

First, I have to say, I hate Bank Of America. They held one of our Honda's leases and once cashed a check i had written for $167 (our monthly payment) for $1670. And according to them, it was not their fault. So f' them.

But even with that level of stupidity, I would have never guessed what they would send me now.

Seems the bright kids at BOA decided to setup DoNotReply@DoNotReply.com as their bounce for bankruptcy emails. I guess they thought the fancy caps made it bank like...

Since the emails actually contain the NAMES OF THE BANKRUPT PARTIES, I will not post them. But come on. BOA is a big bank, bankruptcy is a serious issue. And for that, you actually bounce all the emails off a domain you do not own just to avoid filling up a null address????

Excuse me while I smack my head on my desk, but when you see reports of 50 million records being stolen from here, or the financial info of 30 million people being stolen from there, it isn't because the criminals are so smart. It is because companies like Bank of America are so freaking stupid.

And to prove to BOA I have gotten these emails, I will post this.

On Tuesday, June 28, I received an email dealing with,
"The Bankruptcy Application has made modifications to Case Number 603-60480 for EPI Number 570200 as follow"

I will not post the rest. But please, BOA by all means, threaten to sue me for posting what I have. That seems the norm. To email me about this, or to apologize, you can email me at chet at arcadialane.com

As with all idiots, you can be removed from the list of posted morons by making a charitable donation to the charity of my choice, for the amount of my choice. Both vary based on how much I hate the company, and what they are known to abuse. So far these donations from other parties have reached into the 4 figures and have all gone to their local animal protective league (pound).
